Subject: Pirated Chess Tiger 15 Engines

I am not 100% certain who it was but someone from CCC sent me an e-mail
requesting the Chessbase version of the Chess Tiger 15 engine in exchange for
various other Chessbase Engines. No, I will not send commercial engines to
anyone on this site. That is stealing for those very few of you who do not seem
to understand this. The regulars here understand this well and do not make such
requests. These programmers work VERY hard to make these programs available to
us and you are taking from their pockets every time you send a commercial engine
to your buddies. Chess programmers are not getting rich writing chess programs
like some seem to think. Chessbase has few programmers and they have so many
tasks to complete that they cannot even begin to work on Deep Fritz 8 at this
time. They are not the huge corporate conglomerate that some seem to think they
are and they do not have the funds to hire the additional programmers to handle
all these tasks. I know several who work there and also the main owner so I know
this to be true. If you want a chess program...go out and buy it. They are
reasonably priced and it will help the programmer immensely in his work.

Thank you,
Charles
