I think the error was letting the White pawn get to b6; once that happened the
Black king was in trouble as White can double rooks on the f-file and get one or
both to the 7th or 8th rank with mating threats. In fact, the whole set of pawn
advances on the Queenside seems dubious as, although Black has nothing to
attack, its position is solid without them.

No program seems to understand the position around move 30; after b5, ... b6 was
better than what was played. (Interestingly, once programs such as Yace are
shown ... b6 they seem to like it :)
