The position is not from a game against Shredder. It can appear in the Bc4,f4
Sicilian opening.

You are right: Resignation IS premature, especially against Shredder.
Your Chessmaster is also right:
16...h5!! is the best move in this position. Its a move I can win against
Shredder 7.04.

The position is of course lost for black (there is still some work to do) if
Shredder would play 17.hxg4 but SMK didnt allow Shredder to play that move,
although the Qeens are off.
Is that really necessary ? Arent there any sophisticated methods
to prevent mate attacks? Isnt this stupid?
I think 90% of the users want to have good Analysis engines and
Shredder is IMO NOT particularly good for that (many reasons).
