I would add, that I found the PowerChess 98 to be very good in this regard. It makes you playing a serious chess and gives a good and encouraging explanation in a perfect English after the game. I am around 2000+ myself. There are many good programs out there. Like Chessmaster 6000 or Fritz 5. Didzis
