Hi:
Probably there is also a natural limit putted by your original talents. In any
task -chess, maths, writting, etc- you start with a cluster of known or unknown
potencials thar are progresively developed trought practice and learning, but
then sooner or later you should reach the best combination of that intrinsic
factors and progress should stop. Any GM career is a proof of that: no matter
how much they play and study, it is a fact that each of them gets a level that
is unsurpasable. Otherwise any of us with enough perseverance would reach Fisher
level one day or another.
