Many of Fischer's opponents discovered this sad fact of life. Pundits dubbed it " Fischer fear." "taimanov had already lost the first 4 games of this match..I was sitting in the audience..With plenty of time on his clock a demoralized Taimanov snatched the tainted pawn and had to resign after rxf6?? qd4+ 2.rf2 ra1+ 3.kh2 qxf2. Taimanov blamed his error on high blood pressure and a violent headache."I never beat a healthy opponent," quipped Fischer. To anyone desiring to improve their game I recommend this book.
