have you read "The Amateur's Mind" by IM Jeremy Silverman? 443 pages $16 at
amazon. He asks his students what they are thinking in the given position then
compares their thoughts to the correct ideas for the position. His students are
rated 900,1200,1500,1700,1850,2100.
