I never intended to bug you to make the source perfectly ANSI compliant, since it was your code in the first place and the only reason to make it portable would be public release. I'd be more than happy to try again if you want to send it to me... The new version from Nalimov is being worked on. There are problems compiling his code with gcc as well, as his code actually crashes GCC (he uses lots of C++ templates which seems to break it.)
