Thanks Please see the formula on the page 46 in the Fritz5 manual below. 2.0*PFreq[MHZ]*t[s]=HT[KB] If you play 10 seconds per move like in blitz, please see below. 2.0*120*10= 2400KB hashtables You need about 2,400KB hashtable for playing blitz. If you play 180 seconds per move like in 40/120 games, please see below. 2.0*120*180= 43200KB hashtables You need about 43,200KB hashtables for playing 40/120 games. Also, after you click any time-control game or any blitz game, and the engine in *levels* menu, go and click System configuration in that *levels* menu and check the Optimum hash size.
