Subject: Is the opteron good, bad or ugly for computer chess programs?

I have no idea how these benchmarks can be interpreted computer chesswise. Is
there anyone how will hazard a guess? Or perhaps someone who was previously
constrained by an NDA doesn't have to guess. I would certainly like to hear from
you. Is the opteron good, bad or ugly for computer chess programs?
