I have the Seagate Cheetah 15,000 rpm scsi. I could not tell much difference. I
am sure there is a some speed difference. If you post a position, I will run for
comparison if someone has similiar mhz. mine is 2x1533 amd mp.

maybe I could run six positions with scsi, remove controller and scsi, install
seagate barracuda and then retest same six positions to compare.
lots of money for so little difference.

after having a variety of hardware I have concluded to get max kns:

1. clean operating system with nothing running in background
2. biggest mhz
3. match best ram to specific processor.
4. all hardware must be compatible for no errors or bugs.
5. match hash settings for time control.

if you already have this then i think you will be disappointed in the scsi/cost.
