If you have one or more corrupted files, Fritz won't start. A nice program to check it is Wilhelm by Rafael Andrist. http://www.geocities.com/rba_schach2000/ Install and choose extra>egtb manager. Now do a check for integrity. Replace or reinstall if you find corrupted ones. J.
