I have asked the author some general computer chess programming questions, and he didn't know squat. In fact he thought I was joking when I asked him how much "hash" he was using. He said that he doesn't take drugs. They are illegal. He then went on to say that a "friend" wrote the program, but he tests it because his "friend" doesn't have access to a computer. I asked then how could his friend write a chess program if he doesn't have access to a computer. He left FICS for a while. I used to have a log of the conversation, I will try to find it. When Interchess started at FICS it was a Crafty clone using 2 cpus. So I am thinking it is nothing more than a dual processor machine/program.
