I just received this response from Marty...
Regards, Steve (ICD/Your Move)

"Dear Steve,
Advantages of the new program:

Even stronger play than before!
Estimated strength improvement: 40 rating points.
Fantastic new Opening Book with terrific strength
and variety, a super resource for serious chess players!
Sophisticated rating calculations for up to six players.
Players can set the program's rating directly.
The rating can be reduced up to 700 points with the new
"Set Rating" feature.
There is now an option to claim victory as well as offer
a draw or resign.
M-Chess Pro 8 includes the new "Chess Teacher" which is
better than any other chess coach on the market!
When enabled, the Chess Teacher not only tells you
what is going wrong, but what you should have played and why!
Incredibly low price!

It should be shipping October 20-25, however, the new Manual
may not be ready for a few more days after that date. Or
I might just supply a Pro 7 Manual with a few pages on the
new features, until the old Manuals run out. It depends on
my work schedule which is extremely heavy these days.
Truthfully, the new features are rather obvious and the
installation, system requirements, etc. are the same as before.

Best regards,
Marty"
