Maybe if you told us more about what specific properties in the move generator are interesting, we could give you better help. If nothing is known about the properties you seek even a quite slow movegen is most suited for your need. Otherwise I'd say that the other suggestions you've got so far are all good. If you're not looking for interesting information generated but just want to do some heavy perfting you might have a peek at mine, if you give me credit for it and publish any interesting results you find. If you want it as a base for an engine it's not very suitable. /Regards Albert
