Well, your results on a PIII 500Mhz were:

Default, Blitz:4'+2" 0
1 Shredder 7.04 +13 +36/-32/=32 52.00% 52/100
2 Chess Tiger 15 -13 +32/-36/=32 48.00% 48/100

I am not saying CT15 is weak but I always find that it is not at the top but
Shredder 7.04 usually is and Fritz 8.008 usually is number two. Shredder
usually does not score well in Blitz time control like this; however, as you
demonstrated for youself, Shredder still won the match. You would tend to find
that Shredder score even better in longer time control.

When I first bought CT15, I wish it could beat the xxxx out of other engines
like Fritz or Shredder but I was dissappointed. It just couldn't no matter how
faired I tried.

It goes deep very fast, but I think it occassionally misses some subtle
variations and don't usually pick them up again as it goes deeper where Fritz
usually can pick those up more consistently.

I also found that CT15's time control is not as good as CM9000. It often ran
into time trouble even when it has the advantage and ended up losing on time.
The response time during last minute should be faster.

Jim
