When running a game or engine tourney with The King using the method with textfiles (as recommended by Kurt and me) the simpliest way to see/check the used King setting is: Right mouse click in "Main Engine Pane" (the window with all the PV) and select "Properties", in "Personality" you'll see the used King setting. Another way to see the used King setting in Fritz interface (and later in the game files) is to create an own UCI engine for every wished King setting - that means (for example the settings CM9_SKR): Put the files Wb2Uci.exe and Wb2Uci.eng in an new folder e.g. named "CM9_SKR" and create in Fritz GUI an own UCI engine in the known way; the Wb2Uci.eng for CM9_SKR should look like: [ENGINE] Name=CM9000 SKR Author=Johan de Koning Filename=Wb2Uci.exe [OPTIONS] Program=TheKing.exe <---- individual path to "TheKing.exe" of your CM9000 folder InitString=cm_parm default\cm_parm opk=895958 opp=100 opn=100 opb=100 opr=100 opq=100 myp=100 myn=100 myb=100 myr=100 myq=101 mycc=105 mymob=110 myks=155 mypp=100 mypw=100 cfd=0 sop=100 avd=-2 rnd=0 sel=12 md=99 HashCommand=cm_parm tts=33554432 ttu=7 InitTime=4 Ponder=false Logfile=false Edit=edit UseSAN=false logfile=false ownbook=false Priority=normal AddHintMove=false Protocol=1 LevelExtend=Progressive computer=true Analyze=true UseUndo=true Visible=Ponder,Hash This and many other King settings (including the needed Wb2Uci.eng) you'll find at Surak's site http://www.grailmaster.com/misc/chess/comp/cm.html For every offered King setting there's also an own setting logo (as Wb2Uci.bmp).
