The same is the case here. But then, who can use it? Only legal users who own a
CD.

Here I disagree. The main problem are people who think that if they purchased a
program they also earned the right to "trade". I am pretty sure that the patch
creator in this case is a legal user - discussing motivation of distribution is
completely off-topic.

Yes, that's exactly the point.

Unfortunately you are right. I somehow feel this topic should be discussed, but
as it can't be solved here, chances that it will lead to no good are high.

I wished "trading" could be stopped, at least with people who call themselves
beta-testers and who at least are power users. But it seems people often don't
even realize they are doing wrong.
