1st Special Chessbase-Engine-Chess-Event The first special engine-chess-event will start at Sunday 4th, May 2003 in this room at 3 pm (GMT +2) The first placed players will win 200 ducats - the prizes can only be payed out to players that are using one of the GUI's Fritz 8 / Shredder 7 or Chess Tiger 15 with a serialnumber a payment to users of older GUI's is not possible. It will be played in 3 tournaments in 3 rating categories: 1. Tournament starts at 3 pm - open for players with rating < 2550 2. Tournament starts at 4,30 pm - open for players with rating 2550 - 2699 3. Tournament starts at 6 pm - open for players with rating 2700 or higher The tournament-rules, which are published in the server news section (Rules), apply. Participation in the tournament implies full acceptance of these rules. Each player, that wants to participate, has to enter to his profile the technical data of his hardware (menu edit -> user data -> personal information). Players that played the first or second tournament are not allowed to play in one of the higher tournaments with the same handle - if one wins with different handles (same PC or same IP) in two or three tournaments, he will get only one prize - the second or third prize will go to the next player placed after him.
