I am not going to say everything that I do because some pruning ideas of me are
secret not to lose my relative advantage but I use pruning and one of the
pruning techniques is known to be null move pruning and most of the chess
programs use null move pruning.

99,949 nodes for depth 3 cannot be achieved even with no pruning if you use
simple alpha beta and do not use a lot of extensions or a very bad order of
moves.
