yep that's right. Fastest Opteron so far run at 1.8 Ghz. I doubt that 32Bit-Code
on Opteron runs faster at 1.8 Ghz, than at 2.2 Ghz (Athlon 3000+). Perhaps until
November there are faster Opterons available but I read, that AMD has still
problems to break the 2 GHZ-barrier significantly.

It is unlikely that in November there will be faster Opterons than 2.2 Ghz. Even
if they ran significantly faster than Athlons, it will probably not double the
power of two MP 2100+ @ 1.73 Ghz.
