Eric,

Your first question is a possibility. I am not a "veteran" at this but have
used Shredder for about a year. The second statement is a fact. Ninety nine
percent of those I play against have faster hardware (AMD Athlons or Intel P4).
I use a PIII 1000mz which runs just fine and I realize I am at a slight
disadvantage which I don't mind.

Lost another game yesterday after being consistenly ahead on "eval" from +2.67
to as high as +3.08. Most games are at time levels of 5 8 or 10 6. I play 100%
manually and both enjoy and prefer it.

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times with the
same results and adjust default settings occasionally. I don't know......
