We are approximately at that now, but what's missing is the truth in it. Hopefully, by 2005 the programs will have much more quality knowledge, and the greater speed to proccess it in time both in breadth and depth. If so, the computer weaknesses should be much less and smaller, and it will be REAL chess. Hopefully it will even be intriguing to sometimes see unbelievable sacrifices in material and position, only to see the positions unfold into unstopable wins! S.Taylor
