Yes Shredder seems to be very good challenge for all test suites: I have run a lot suites (tactical and endgame) with same result always. Fritz 8 is the best to solve problems in every test. But in actual playing even in blitz level Shredder seems to be the strongest. What's the explanation? Positional play comes in mind. Where is good positional test - probably there is no such test. May be all test suite are useless, it's better to use 10 or more hours for playing against different engines. Jouni
