actually, check pricewatch.com for duron 1.3 motherboard combos. my duron 1.3 runs faster than my athlon thunderbird 1.2ghz, but is CHEAP. the proc by itself is only $40! you could probably get that combo together with 256mb of pc100 (durons only run on pc100) ram for $250.
