The M-chess pro 5.0 program is a DOS program.  If you insist on trying to run it
in windows there is supposed to be a mode 3(Besides 1 & 2) and a mode X.  Mode 3
uses availabel extended memory for hash tables and relies on an extended memory
manager like HIMEM.SYS.  Mode X uses extended memory for hash tables but only if
you do not use an extended memory manager(HIMEM.SYS).  That's what I get out of
