Subject: Ruffian game position

From a test game, Ruffian-Arasan. Ruffian played d6 here:

[D] 3q4/k4pp1/1pB3bp/p2PQ3/6P1/8/5P1P/6K1 w - -

Arasan followed up with f6, but lost after Qe6 a4 d7 a3 Qb3 a2.

Question: does your engine play d6, above? And how long does it take to see that
f 6 is losing in this position:

FYI Crafty 19.2 doesn't select d6 even after 10 minutes. On the 2nd position it
fails low at ply 14 (33 seconds on a Xeon 1.7GHz). Pharaon on the other hand
seems to get a big - score right away after f6.
