In my opinion palm is by far the better pda operating system, in terms of
elegance and simplicity.

However pocketpc currently has the faster processors and so are a lot stronger.
It is also easier to transfer pgns directly to the pocketpc than with palm, when
the pgn has to be converted into a database.

Pocket Fritz 2 is regarded as the strongest program.  However Pocket Grandmaster
2 is cheaper, has 3 strong engines, and also spoken move announcements - which
is very useful when playing with a wooden set.

In the UK, you can pick up a pocket pc for less than £200 e.g.
