I doubt it'll be a year. While AMD has neglected the MP's ever since the opteron
buzz started, AMD's archaic 760MPX chipset cannot continue past 2800+. I'll give
it MAX 6 months. Or... by that time, Opterons of the equivalent of the 3000+ at
the higher bus speeds with the upcoming nForce3 chipset will be available at
consumer prices, making the MP's irrelevant.
