Subject: Unable to use max RAM on Fritz 8?

When I initialze Fritz 8 (after closing all unescessary programs) on my 512 MB
WIN ME intel system it starts with 287 MB of RAM and indicates that the max is
308 MB.  So I enter 308 MB of RAM  and Fritz APPARANTLY acknowledges the
change.... However I wonder if it indeed does add the extra RAM.  COMMENTS
anyone? (another interesting point is that of course with win 98 and ME windows
will not let you run more than 512 MB of accessible ram even if u have a
GIGABYTE of RAM!  I solved that on my win 98 computer but how about ME?
Frustrating......... really!  Alex.
