As well, people just keep looking at MHz as a measure of speed... as a matter of
fact, the OMAP that is in a Tungsten T is a 175MHz (capable) processor
integrated with a 200MHz DSP... with the two working together to provide 575
MIPS (million instructions per second) while the "blazingly fast" 400 MHz XSCALE
processor from Intel is capable of only 480 MIPS.

A Tungsten T, with the processors clocked as Palm has chosen to clock them, is
almost equivalent MIPS to the 400 MHz XSCALE.

Now... *this* isn't even the whole story... but I hope it's a good example of
why you can't just look at the MHz rating of a PDA's processor to determine who
is the fastest, you have to look at the whole architecture.

(of course... Christophe... if you don't provide us with a Tiger that uses some
ARM code... Does that new FAST SDK that Palm has released have anything to
offer?)
