I have just *reproduced* the losing move on my machine in the analysis mode --
it seems to me that Crafty was sort of slowing down (according to the number of
nps; the disk working all the time) and it appeared to think that 75.Rd5+ was
winning, never considering ...75.Kxc4 but the much inferior Kb6. After
capturing the pawn on c4 it still thought that it was winning by marching the
pawn to b6 (!!) and not for a second did it take into account that I could
capture the rook. I noticed that it probed the tablebases and its PV had the
EGDB symbol in it. I think that there has to be a deficient tablebase probe
somewhere - I use 76 tablebases.

After reading your message I will actually try *playing* Crafty rather using the
analysis mode and then -see what happens.
