Thanks for looking into this -- I did think that you'd eventually reply :-) Of course I unzipped the files :-)(I am not THAT forgetful) and I've got more than 2.5 gigs of tablebases on my disk. My Crafty has access to 76 tablebases amongst which are the KRP KR databases and the sizes are, just checked: 536,857,464 tbb 536,872,010 tbw I can see now the uneven sizes of these :-( so the downloading must have been faulty, right? (shoot!!!!) What sidetracked me was my checking up on the Lucena position and the such where Crafty, using the KRP KR did so well, finding the win immediately... Wait :-) I just checked the zipped files and the sizes match the zipped bases that you quote! What is it then? A corrupted file or a bad Winzip prog? Or something else...
