This manual is for the Par Excellence Model 6083 The settings for levels are as follows. level 1. fixed depth search 1 ply level 2 " " 2 ply level 3 " " 3 ply level 4 " " 4 ply level 5 " " 5 ply Level 6 60 move / 5 minutes average time 5 sec. per move level 7 60 " / 15 min. " 15 " level 8 60 " / 30 min. " 30 " now when you what to go to level 9 and higher, just keep pressing the level key level 9 60 moves / 1 hour average time 1 min. per move level 10 30 moves / 1hr. " 2 min " level 11 40 moves in 2 hours, aversge time per move is 3 min. This is the level that the computer is rated 2100 uscf. Now for the option keys, A=easy mode b=sound off c=moitor mode d=black from the bottom e=change color with move f=cancel book g=clear board h=mate finder mode Also on the Par Excellence you can set what opening you want it to play. It's called 64 selectable openings, if your interested let me now and i'll make a copy of this book and get it to you. Earl
