I have a Par, but i haven't played against it in years. I'll have to dig it out and play a couple of games just for kicks! However the point i was trying to make was about old dedicated chess computers in genearl that had been rated by the USCF, like the Par but also the Mach3 and the Mach 4 and Novags Super Constellation etc. Could they achieve the same rating now as they did yesterday, thats the question ?
