(another snip) John, Being an old DOS freak, I could probably find all the hidden files on your hard drive faster than you could edit the Windows registry.... :) So this wouldn't stop the clever hacker either. I would be interested in a method that would do what you want and be difficult to circumvent. A lot of CCC programmers probably would, for that matter. I'll roll it around in my head (there's a lot of unused space in there... :)) and let you know if I come with something. -Jim Phillips
