DOS is fine for programmers.  In fact, I do all kinds of stuff from the command
line even in Windows that makes people recoil in horror.

End-users want to point and click.  They won't be able to edit an ini file
correctly and they won't be able to set environmental variables or things like
that.  Which is all fine and good.  A chaque le sien goûte.
