As I knew what the file is for, I ran it myself once. However, it didn't raise
temperature at all. Because of Seti@home running in the background I always have
a 100% CPU-load. I guess this is the same principle: keeping your processor at
100% for an extended time. No need for warmup programs, just a resident cruncher
and you're on the same track.

Switching off Seti@home makes my P4 CPU-temp drop from 47 Celsius to 34 Celcius.
I wonder what it means for power consumption; I guess the P4 eats a whole lot
more Watts than P3 and older architecture, although I'm not sure.
