I don't know the Chessmaster Server, or if it is still online etc., but I've read that there are not many players there compared to other servers. My suggestion would be to try other chess servers which are very popular, like ICC, FICS, ChessNet or Playchess.com. You'll find free software required to access them on their websites. All offer either free access or limited but free guest access. For the URLs, see the "Online" section at: http://www.computerschach.de/netguide/ Most of the programs will be able to save your games in PGN, which you could then load into Chessmaster 9000 for analysis, comparison with opening theory, or to create a database of your triumphs in the Database Room etc...
