I second the comments above. I have given up on CM9000 and its so-called
internet play capability. I am a veteran of more than 20 years of working with
computers (programming in various languages, Databases, MVS, VMS, Unix, Windows,
Linux) and I could not ever figure out how their GUI works. I got on, but could
never manage to start a game of my own with someone else. It was an exercise in
frustration that I gave up on after 3 weeks.

Buy a ChessBase product like Fritz 8, Junior 8, Hiarcs 8, Shredder 7 and play on
playchess.com. It is incredibly easy to use and you will be much happier.

I am not saying CM9000 is junk! It is a fantastic playing partner and analysis
partner. I like it best of all my software as the various personalities give me
a huge range of opponents that are fun to play against. The online portion is
pure crap though, IMHO.
