The Athlon XP and Athlon MP is the equivalent CPU duo to Intels P4 and Xeon. The Opteron is based on a new CPU core by AMD. As for motherboards you will get up to date info on the http://www.amdzone.com/ website. The NForce 3 looks tasty. But I don't think it is available yet. MvH Dan Andersson
