Other people played with chessmaster6000 at long time control and it did not lose. comparing chessmaster6000 with Fritz6 is also wrong because chessmaster6000 came out at the time of Fritz5 and Fritz5.32. Note that the default option with chessmaster6000 was 1 mbytes and if you do not ask how to change it then you may get wrong results. The default selectivity of chessmaster6000 was also too low for long time control. 7000 was the same engine as 6000 (if I remember correctly) without the possibility to change the hash tables. 8000 was no big improvement and the big improvement was in 9000. Note that I did not buy 7000,8000 or 9000 but I listen to other people so I know based on experience of other people. Uri
