Subject: Rebel 10 - 2 probs

HI Guys!

Rebel 10 is a sweet piece of chess software, BUT I have some minor complaints:

- I cannot resign gracefully?

- When using the suggested windows 9x startup shortcuts created by REBGROUP, it
allocates ALOT (40 megs on my 64 meg system) for hashtables. I can live with
that, but it will not allow my to task out of the DOS box! This really sucks for
those of us that like to play while doing other things at the same time in
windows.

If I reduce the hashtable size, will it allow me to use my computer for other
things at thr same time again?

- I play at game in 15 minutes. Without using takebacks, I noticed after a few
games and hitting the menu's alot, the CAPTURED PIECE window no longer work
properly - some captured pieces show, disappear, come back a move or two later,
etc.

- Is there a way I can get it to self 'adjust' to my playing level? ie: after I
win a game it could make itself a bit tought to play, and if I lose, it could
ease up a bit?

- I could not find the RATE MY PLAY option.

- Sound will not beep me when it is my move. I just get a 'tick' sort of sound
when moving pieces.

Dude
