Johan de Koning didn't know the settings of Kurt Utzinger? It seems very
strange to me. Anyway i disagree with Mr Johan, as it is obvious that at
least CM9000 with SKR settings is considerably stronger than CM9000 default and
i think that many many games have been played to say that. Of course this is
true at long time controls (40'/40 and up) and as i have seen not in blitz.
So in overall performance, perhaps the standard settings are the best. But
if Mr Johan is hearing i would advice him to pay a little more attention
in SKR settings and hope that the next vesion of the King (if there will be one)
will have standard settings something similar to SKR, although it will not be so
good in blitz, but i think that's OK, as true chess is not blitz.
My congratulations also for the perfect performance of his great program, and i
hope there will be a CHESSMASTER 10000. I can't live without the Chessmaster.
