There may be more than one "correct" move, and 1. Nxf7 may not be the best. I
ran some games starting from this position last night, with a time control of
10min/30sec.

Ruffian played white in three games each against Yace and Crafty, for a total of
6 games. In each game Ruffian played 1. Ne4, and it went on to win in all 6
games.

Crafty played white three times, and played 1. Nxf7 once, and 1. Ne4 twice,
winning all of its games as white.

Yace played two games as white, and played 1. Nxf7 each time, and won each time.

The side playing white always won, regardless of whether it played 1. Nxf7 or 1.
Ne4. Between Ruffian, Crafty, and Yace, Ne4 was preferred 8 times out of 11. So
if your engine choses 1. Ne4 or 1. Nxf7, I certainly wouldn't say that it fails
to solve this position.
