If it were that easy there would be MANY more 2600 players than there actually are. Having personally played many people that I believe are little more than mail carriers for their computers, I think 2300-2450 is about where most computers would end up. For today anyway. Of course a computer may beat an unassisted human rated much higher than that, as in the Steve Ham games, but unassisted human player ratings are for the most part declining, and do not accurately reflect their actual strength in a world with strong computers.
