It is still my opinion that there is a gap between test positions and
practical games. Our best, but never published CM9 settings for test
positions, is considerably weaker in practical play. I have no idea
why this is so. And furthermore, a strong CM9 setting a longer time
controls may not satisfy at blitz level.
