Dear Thomas,

Thanks for your kind words.

My games with CM-Pillen are just casual "skittles" chess in OTB action, played
at game/20 or so. I'm not very strong at OTB chess in comparison to
Correspondence Chess. As such, I've never played any other Correspondence Chess
games against machines (as far as I know!) since my matches a few years ago
versus Fritz 6a and Nimzo 7.32.

Sometimes, for fun, I let a CM personality play out some of my opening novelties
that I've prepared for use in Correspondnece Chess. I've paired CM against
Shredder and Fritz 7.08, thus concluding that Pillen looked the strongest to me.
But my tests aren't nearly as methodical as Kurt's, since I'm more interested in
the viability of my human analysis than I am the engines.
