Due to a recent acquistion of a DGT chess board, I have decided to make available from my private computer chess collection - a "Mephiso Atlanta" that was purchased brand new in October 2002. I am looking for $280 which INCLUDES shipping (Anywere in the US) and insuarance ($300 coverage) and since the unit is in like new condition and has only a hand-full games played on it, I am able to guarantee the unit for 30 days for a full refund excluding actual shipping and insurance costs - approx $15.00. I will also include batteries, an optional AC/DC adapter is NOT included. The unit will be shipped in its original box which is also in like new condition with an English manual. The manual is the originaly received with the unit, but it appears to be a copy. This price is firm. If a private sale is not consumated within a week or so, it will be auctioned off on eBay in a 10-day auction. Payments Terms: Total $280 , must be paid by cashier's check, or money order. I will also accpet Paypal. First come , first served - I only have one unit. Once you have agreed to buy it, I would expect to receive payment within 1 week. Once payment is received, unit will be shipped. Advantages of buying in non-auction: Immediate payments = equals immediate shipping. You cannot be "sniped" at the last minute (or last second). As a special added bonus that will NOT be included on the EBay auction - an original Volume 1, Issue 1 of "computer Chess Digest Annual: published in 1982/1983. Editor - Dr. Enrique Irazoqui 100 pages of computer chess yore from 1980-1981 - includes many game scores from the early chess computer battles. For example, it includes ALL 12 game scores of the 1982 US Open in St. Paul, MN played by the Fidelity Prestige earning a rating of 1870. In this torunament, it was the first time a micro chess computer (as they were called back then) ,defeated a an "Expert" in a tournament. David Moody (2049) is a part of computer chess history and may not even know it. As an aside, Cray Blitz back then was condsidered to be near 2200-2300 - that was over 20 years ago. email me right away, if interested. thanks for listening, Michael Byrne
