The device (hardware) may be as powerful, but is the operating system still as
constraining from a developer's point of view as it used to be? e.g. Can I
allocate a few megabyte block of contiguous memory from the heap, or have a
reasonable amount of global data, or a decently sized stack? I know this used
to be a major annoyance when trying to port larger programs to the platform.
